Steamed the floors this morning in an effort to rid the house of the smell of fish. Starting to think last nights salmon was not fit for consumption. Went and picked up some compost, dug over the veg bed and planted lots of onions and garlic.

Went into Newcastle with Mrs Basil after picking her up from church. She was on a bit of a recce for an upcoming shoot, looking for murals around the city centre. Was an excuse for a breakfast bao lunch and I needed some gloves in preparation for the coming week of sub zero dog walks.

Very frustrating day trying to test dashboard data that I barely understand. At least I didn’t have the dog to contend with. Was able to have a quiet 45 minutes before the chaos goblin returned with Mrs Basil.
