Very tiring day at work. Lead Dev on leave. European Medicines Agency doing an inspection. People asking for things every five minutes. Plus I had the dog and Mrs Basil is feeling sick as hell. About to collapse into bed and sleep like the dead.

Return of the mud. Walked the dog at lunch and she was more mud than dog by the end of it. I almost slipped over a good few times. Work was the usual level of frustrating.

Easier day at work. Although I have been tasked with learning powerBI so that I can train the rest of the company on powerBI… Which is a bit terrifying. Went to the pub after the evening dog walk as a friends sister was visiting from Australia.

Work got incredibly busy today and I was on dog duty so I felt really guilty that I could only really walk her for half an hour at lunch and the same again after work. Good chance it will be more of the same tomorrow. Although I am having a night out in Ouseburn.

Miserable day of drizzle. I walked the dog at lunchtime but she really wasn’t into it at all. Mrs Basil is still unwell and I convinced her to have an afternoon nap after she’d spent over an hour on a video call trying to walk her parents through buying train tickets.

Night out in Ouseburn with old work mates from Previous Employer Inc. Feel like I was looking forward to it so much it couldn’t have lived up to the hype. Anyway, it was a pleasant evening after a tough week.
