Not much happened today. Went for a pint after work. Mrs Basil had the dog today. She’s filming all next week so I’m trying to mentally prepare having the dog all week.

Tedious work day. Four hour process improvement meeting. Then an eternity trying to open a seemingly corrupted word document. Snooze fest. My new keyboard has shipped, huzzah.

Very boring Saturday. Two dog walks, one of which was very moist, while Mrs Basil worked on shoot prep for next week. Tried to read a new book but just struggling to get into anything.

New keyboard arrived this afternoon, which is nuts considering it left Hungary yesterday afternoon. It’s nice but going to take a lot of getting used to…. I thought the “tactile” Mechanical switches would feel more… Tactile.

A combination of Mrs Basil not feeling too good and having to do more work in prep for next week meant that my day was 2 dog walks, a shopping trip and cooking meals. A sweltering day.

Pissed about with the configuration of my new keyboard… gonna take a lot of getting used to. Went to a new “pan Asian restaurant” nearby… Some of the food was ok, but not a pleasant place to eat.
