Had a meeting with my boss about how I don’t have time to do my job. Went for a haircut after work and met a mate in the pub afterwards for a few pints. Takeaway burger on the way home. The dog got a bit neglected today.

Another dull day. Still nice weather though. Mrs Basil has been recording a comedy radio show for Radio Four so I’ve had the dog for a few days. She gets a bit crazy in the heat.

Not much happened today. Went for a pint after work. Mrs Basil had the dog today. She’s filming all next week so I’m trying to mentally prepare having the dog all week.

Tedious work day. Four hour process improvement meeting. Then an eternity trying to open a seemingly corrupted word document. Snooze fest. My new keyboard has shipped, huzzah.

Very boring Saturday. Two dog walks, one of which was very moist, while Mrs Basil worked on shoot prep for next week. Tried to read a new book but just struggling to get into anything.

New keyboard arrived this afternoon, which is nuts considering it left Hungary yesterday afternoon. It’s nice but going to take a lot of getting used to…. I thought the “tactile” Mechanical switches would feel more… Tactile.
