Still knackered from yesterday’s walk. Mrs Basil dragged me to a pride event that was having a dog show. Scout got 2nd place in the prettiest bitch category. Got home and Mrs Basil and I trimmed the hedges, so now we’re both knackered.

Very challenging day. Slept very little overnight trying to look after the dog. Her wound looks awful, which is really depressing. Tried to bandage it up but she lost her mind and attacked the dressing and it made everything worse. I’m really reaching my wits end with this.

Had to deal with a system outage today because of SSL expiry nonsense. Literally stole half the day. Had the dog but it was mercifully pleasant weather. Mrs Basil is still struggling with work stress.

A slightly better day. Spent the morning trying to keep the dog moving but it was hot and she didn’t really want to walk. Was able to relax a little but still spending most of the time hovering around the dog.

Busy with lots of different things at work instead of one big thing. It’s weird. Didn’t do much else today.

Didn’t get anywhere near enough done today. Had an awkward problem to solve which I didn’t figure out until 18:00 and spent ages helping others with their awkward problems… So much for making up for lost time.
