Another dull day. A normal day at work punctuated with 2 hour long trips to the field with the dog. We were expecting the tree planting to start on the field today but nothing happened. Mrs Basil still in London for a couple more days.

Mrs Basil took Scout out for a walk with Teemo & Teddy. Today was the first hint that winter is coming to an end. We had lunch sat outside in the sun. It was chilly, but pleasant. Made last minute plans and met a mate for a few pints at The Central. Might take my whole day off tomorrow.

It was bitterly cold today. Officially 3 degrees but the wind was ice. I was standing in the field with the dog after work and my nipple’s started to hurt. Went to the pub for an hour to warm up. The dogs paw seems to be fine now but she’s being excessively whiney today.

Mrs Basil was back at the office today and took the dog. I had the day off, so almost complete peace and quiet. Aside from some neighbour DIY. Did almost nothing all day. Hung up some picture frames and worked on this site, which I think is about done. Most importantly, I picked the domain name.

Insane temperature swing today. Well into double figures. Didn’t get much sleep between stomach aches and the dog being very unsettled. She puked first thing this morning. Mrs Basil is on the late train home from London after wrapping her feature film shoot.

Back to work after a long weekend. Didn’t sleep well last night because Mrs Basil didn’t sleep well last night - lingering muscle pains. Scout had a checkup at the vet which went fine, she was far less terrified than previous visits according to Mrs Basil. After weighing in at 17kg I spent the rest of the day making fun of the Hekin’ Chonker.
