Boring day at work, some of the team are at the head office for some dull meetings so it’s pretty quiet. The dog was apparently anxious and clingy all day. Mrs Basil is prepping for shooting a feature film next week.

Wet and muddy sunday walk with the dog while Mrs Basil was at church. Spent free time making this site in Hugo (dates are hard). Mrs Basil watched Man Utd and got frustrated practising crochet. We had steak.

Mrs Basil in Liverpool for a work event. The dog and I both got soaked at lunchtime. After work went to the community meeting about how they’re planting trees all over a nearby field we spend a lot of time in. Couldn’t stay long cos the dog got very anxious. She also seems to have a sore paw, has a slight limp.

Feeling pretty burnt out at work. Never ending deadlines and onboarding new starters. Wanted to carry on tinkering with this site but was too tired. I need to pick a Url… decisions, decisions.

Mrs Basil took Scout to the office but ended up coming home at lunchtime. Mainly because she forgot Scouts lunch but also because of a sore paw. Scout has been limping for at least a day so we are keeping an eye on it

More overtime today for a deadline nobody agreed to that our users don’t want. Finished at 20:30 and went to the pub to meet Mrs Basil and her friend from the office (and Scout). Didn’t get home until 22:30. Mrs Basil and Scout wil be like the walking dead tomorrow.
