Discovered that my efforts to seal the bathtub were a failure. It still leaks. Tried to get Zwift setup on Mrs Basil’s old iPad which was a frustrating experience that also ended in failure. I have finished a full year of my lifebook, which really is a suprise.

My Hobonichi Techno Life Book arrived today. The idea that I will keep this going for more than a few months is pretty far fetched, but we will see. I went to the cinema with Mrs Basil to see The Zone of Interest. Devastating subject matter. Awful film. Complete abdication of the responsibility to tell a story.

Boring day at work, some of the team are at the head office for some dull meetings so it’s pretty quiet. The dog was apparently anxious and clingy all day. Mrs Basil is prepping for shooting a feature film next week.

Wet and muddy sunday walk with the dog while Mrs Basil was at church. Spent free time making this site in Hugo (dates are hard). Mrs Basil watched Man Utd and got frustrated practising crochet. We had steak.

Mrs Basil in Liverpool for a work event. The dog and I both got soaked at lunchtime. After work went to the community meeting about how they’re planting trees all over a nearby field we spend a lot of time in. Couldn’t stay long cos the dog got very anxious. She also seems to have a sore paw, has a slight limp.

Feeling pretty burnt out at work. Never ending deadlines and onboarding new starters. Wanted to carry on tinkering with this site but was too tired. I need to pick a Url… decisions, decisions.
