I had missed the note on the calendar that told me Mrs Basil was going to be out all Sunday at a work event. So came downstairs to the dog on her own. Took her on a long walk, as ever, this tired me out more than her. Spent the evening recovering. Might need to relent and put the heating on soon, the house is feeling very cold.

Another day I had the dog. Rained all day. Got pretty wet at lunchtime. Then she was a pest all evening. Praise deity that Mrs Basil can take her tomorrow cos I’m sick of her shit.

Spent the day doing someone else’s work which was pretty frustrating. On the plus side my new jacket arrived and it’s excellent. Hopefully the dog doesn’t rip it.
