Mrs Basil was on a job so I had the dog today which always makes work a bit tricky. Finish work, right out with the dog, get home and make dinner…. Not my favourite kind of evening.

Lazy morning then took the dog to the park. Mrs Basil messaged to see if we could pay her a visit at work so we did that. Ended up staying out all day. So the dog should sleep like the dead tonight.

I had missed the note on the calendar that told me Mrs Basil was going to be out all Sunday at a work event. So came downstairs to the dog on her own. Took her on a long walk, as ever, this tired me out more than her. Spent the evening recovering. Might need to relent and put the heating on soon, the house is feeling very cold.
