Had the dog today. She was mostly fine. I had a day of dealing with miscellaneous nonsense so now I’m starting to fall behind with real work. Was at the field with the dog for nearly 2 hours after work since the rain that was threatening never arrived.

Another frustratingly unproductive day at work. Thought I’d chill out at the pub for a bit after work but Mrs Basil arrived home without her door keys so I had to mooch back home.

Was my turn to stand in the rain with the dog after work today. Already sick as fuck of the weather and it’s not even a week until autumn. Need a southern hemisphere 2nd home.
