Lead dev was back today thankfully. Spent a lot of the day complaining at him about things. Finally remembered to contact customer support for my kobo libra colour. Starting the long return process.

Had the dog today so of course it was a wet and miserable day. Misty sideways rain all day. An hour walk at lunch 2 hours after work and still she wouldn’t give me peace. A night away tomorrow without her thankfully.

Friday off work for a short birthday break for Mrs Basil. Ditched the dog, headed up the coast to a fancy hotel. A few hours in a spa, massage for Mrs Basil. Afternoon tea and a fancy meal in the evening. Of course she had to attend some video call for work in the middle of it all, but what else is new.
