Hady mind blown today. Been struggling at work for a few months with a colleague that won’t do his work unless I sit with him and tell him what to do. Today he called me up and asked me what he should write in his performance review… I was genuinely and utterly gobsmacked.

Quiet day, mercifully. Mrs Basil had a haircut and we went out for cocktails for a few hours this evening. Started watching the ITV miniseries about the subpostmasters scandal. Difficult not to get irate while watching it.

Not much doing today. Dog walk and food shop. Mrs Basil spent all afternoon and evening finished a crochet project for a friend’s Christmas present. I’m bracing myself for a tiring week of manual testing at work.
