Was gonna do an hour or so of work this morning to catch up but I sacked it off. Cheeky Friday’s off are a bit less effective now that Mrs Basil and the dog are usually at home and I have to walk the dog at lunchtime. I did at least get to spend the afternoon messing with my blog and gave the kitchen an overdue reorganization.

Lie in follow by a long dog walk in the rain since Mrs Basil had to go to Stockton for a work meeting. The new TV streaming setup is working out much better but should get a better test tomorrow. Still some fireworks going off and scaring Scout. She was so tired from the daytime walk thankfully she didn’t need to go out again in the evening.

A few hiccups with the TV streaming today but not too bad. I finally posted a blog post that had been sat in my drafts since April 2020 which is nice. Used the oven function on the new microwave properly for the first time…. It did not work. Seems like it gets nowhere near the stated temperature. I’m not a rocket doctor, but I think 1 hour at 210°C should be enough to cook carrots.
