Mrs Basil is under the weather again. Seems she’s coming down with something every 3 weeks. Meaning I had the dog today. She was mostly fine but a bit weird again in the evening. My lock picking set arrived but I haven’t had much time to play with it yet.

Less awful but still a very frustrating day at work. We took the dog out early evening and got home just in time before the heavens opened. Hoping to wrangle some of dog club out to the pub on Friday.

I tried to get a few days of work done in one afternoon. Obviously it didn’t work. Not looking forward to next week. Met the local dog walkers at the pub after work.

Nothing much happened today. Only mildly irritating day at work. Had to explain Git to my boss, who hasn’t done any coding in about ten years.

Lazy day. Mrs Basil dealt with the dog walking. I finally got chance to play with my lock picking kit. Opened a padlock a few times but more through brute force than finesse. Will need a lot of practice if I want it to be a real hobby.

A work day of 2 halves. 50% annoying testing problems. 50% fixing some code that’s bothered me for a long time. It wasn’t particularly warm, but a sunny Friday meant a Dog Club pub meetup.
