Spent all day on just one of the umpteen things I need to get done this week. /Shrug… The dog still seems ever so slightly out of sorts. Mrs Basil had a long day 07:30 to 20:30.

Bit if a strange day. Just tired and recovering from yesterday’s travelling. Family walk to Blaydon that was wetter than anticipated. Then veged out for the rest of the day trying not to worry about going back to work.

Another wasted work day. Mrs Basil has a headache and might be coming down with something again. I have ordered a lock picking kit and went out and bought a padlock at lunchtime. Gonna see if it’s an interesting hobby.

Bit of a rough day back at work. Both big projects I’m involved in had rather awkward setbacks in some part due to our team. Finally got our overtime put back into our time off… So have another week of holiday to book in at some point.

Mrs Basil is under the weather again. Seems she’s coming down with something every 3 weeks. Meaning I had the dog today. She was mostly fine but a bit weird again in the evening. My lock picking set arrived but I haven’t had much time to play with it yet.

Less awful but still a very frustrating day at work. We took the dog out early evening and got home just in time before the heavens opened. Hoping to wrangle some of dog club out to the pub on Friday.
