Dog still weird and unsettled this morning. Mrs Basil took her on a group walk with some friends in the afternoon while I went to chill out in the pub. The walk seems to have done the trick.

Ok day as far as the weather goes. A couple of dog walks and a trip to the supermarket. Mrs Basil was happy because Man It’s beat Man City in the FA cup final. Early start tomorrow. 7am train to London for a family reunion. What I would give to wake up and it be Monday.

Fairly productive day. Did the food shop, mowed the grass in anticipation of the impending days of rain, swapped out the kitchen tap in an attempt to solve the flow rate issue. Turns out there was some debris in the pipe causing the issue, but I wanted a new tap anyway.

Today we went to Highgate for the afternoon. Just a 7 hour round trip for a 6 hour event. A family reunion for Mrs Basil. It all went ok thankfully and Mrs Basil got to meet some cousins, aunts, and uncles from the US. We were sharing the train with some hopeful, then disappointed Leeds fans attending the playoff final.

Spent all day on just one of the umpteen things I need to get done this week. /Shrug… The dog still seems ever so slightly out of sorts. Mrs Basil had a long day 07:30 to 20:30.

Bit if a strange day. Just tired and recovering from yesterday’s travelling. Family walk to Blaydon that was wetter than anticipated. Then veged out for the rest of the day trying not to worry about going back to work.
