Another very sunny day. Got some stuff done at work but a lot of international colleges were off, because May 1st. Finished early for a pre holiday haircut and had a few pints afterwards.

An entire day of manual test execution. Mind numbing. On the plus side, the rest of Europe was on a public holiday so I was left alone to get work done. Mrs Basil, as of 22:30 isn’t back from work yet. She came back momentarily in the early evening to drop the dog at home before heading back to the office.

Awful night. Didn’t sleep well, have finally succumbed to Mrs Basil’s lurgy. Now I have to hope I can at least mostly recover before heading to Dubrovnik… It’s likely that my birthday pub crawl through Manchester is gonna have to be scrapped. Managed to get most of my work handover done.

Another dull day of manual test execution turning my brain to mush. Mrs Basil only worked until half past 8 tonight. On the plus side, my Kobo colour arrived. It’s nice but it’ll still take some getting used to. I need to figure out how to strip DRM.

Spent the day trying to rest and recover. Don’t think I feel as bad as yesterday. Possibly due to a good nights sleep and a day of rest. Mrs Basil did all the heavy lifting today. Walking the dog, making dinner. I hope she’s not overdoing it during her recovery, but she insists she’s fine.

Had the day off but had the dog. Did a big walk to the pub via the pet shop and the park. The dog has only just settled and has been awake for about 12 hours. She’s going to be comatose tomorrow.
