Unusual day at work cos I basically just sat and write down thoughts about things. Was mildly therapeutic. Still coughing but otherwise I’m feeling ok. Mrs Basil is having trouble with one of her company vat accounts. Might be some fraud going on.

Demoralising and frustrating day at work. Mrs Basil was home at a reasonable hour and was able to do dog walk duties after work so I was able to get an hour of peace. Which was nice. Steak and chips for dinner… It’s been an unhealthy week.

Finished work early and headed off to Darlo to meet old mates for a few birthday pints. Didn’t do anything daft like miss the train home. Got home at about midnight to find the dog in the bed.

Manic day at work getting pulled from pillar to post on the project of doom. Took the dog to the vets at lunch time for no reason to try and start desensitizing her… It’s going to take a lot of visits.

Only a slight hangover this morning. Had a lie-in. Mrs Basil started to get antsi in the afternoon because she was bored. I walked the dog and found the new saplings had been planted in the nearby field. Some of them in areas promised to be left clear.

Lazy good Friday. Family walk in the park and lunch from the fishmongers. Potted a few plants but that was about it. Mrs Basil’s mass was a late one (7pm) and not to her liking. Scout was pretty fucking annoying all day. Pretty much cried or barked the entire time she was awake.
