Mrs Basil spent the night away at an industry event in Durham. It was a very wet walk at lunchtime. Mrs Basil returned home and headed right back out for a work night out to celebrate her companies 12th year.

Just another trash day at work. Walked the dog after work, Mrs Basil met us out in the field. New shoes still pretty uncomfortable.

A health scare with the dog. She was unable to stand or sit without falling over. She was refusing to eat or drink. She was losing bladder control. After inconclusive blood and urine tests at the vet we had to go to the hospital for more tests and a neuro consult. Turns out she was high… Positive test for cannabis… What a dickhead.

Mrs Basil out filming today then out for a work social to celebrate her business being established 11 years ago. Quite the feat. I spent the evening dealing with our chaos goblin of a dog.

Dog back to herself after he day off her tits on cannabis yesterday. Mrs Basil had to work so I spent the day walking the dog, cooking, and cleaning. Nipped in the pub for a quick one to regale the locals with the dogs nonsense.

End of a shite work week. At least by the end of the work day the weather had brightened up. Went to dog club then a quick pint on my bill before heading home. Don’t think we have any weekend plans.
