Walked the dog after work (it was deceptively hot) cooked dinner, then went to the pub for the sports quiz. Came a distant second place but got some Scampi Fries as a bonus prize. The dog has very sore eyes. We’re treating with old medication.

Another day where I didn’t get enough done because I was helping everyone else with their stuff. It was a beautiful sunny day so hoped to finish early and sit in the garden but didn’t get done until half past 6.

The useless tester nearly pushed me over the edge today. I had a massive rant about him to his manager. Feeling a bit odd. At first I thought I was hungover, but it quickly became apparent it was something else. Hopefully I feel better tomorrow.

The dog knocked her scab off her leg again. Despair. After work we went to collect Mrs Basil’s new Hybrid car. I hope she likes this one. Gonna take time for her to get used to an automatic that’s for sure.

Busy day of little things and never got around to what I’d hoped. Forgot to have lunch. Had a night out with old work mates. Mrs Basil has had another bad day at work and still has a headache.

Mrs Basil was out for the day at some work event so I had the dog. She was mostly ok. Could have done without having to keep all the windows closed to stop her barking. It meant it was stuffy as hell. After work I walked a friend’s dog. A gentle sweet chocolate Labrador. Complete opposite to my chaos goblin.
