Finally got the user testing started at work. All progressing well, should be done tomorrow. Went for the regular Wednesday pints after work. Got home at 8 and tagged in with the dog while Mrs Basil went to the pub with a mate.

Dog’s injury starting to heal and she’s not quite as bothered by it but she’s getting very frustrated not being off the lead and wearing the cone of shame. She just about let me get some work done today.

It’s been a bit strange at work. After finishing our work on a project and thinking we were done but then needing to handhold the other teams through to the finish line meant that I couldn’t move on to other things like I thought I could. Had a dog club meetup after work. Indy the black lab is 15 today.

First day of our new “agile” sprinting scrum bollocks at work today. Complete waste of time, but whatever. Dog went with Mrs Basil to the office for the first time since the injury then had a trip to the coast. A bit of the scab got knocked off so a slight setback.

Deadline hit at work. I can start doing my actual job again next week… Hopefully. Pints after work. A couple with dog club and a couple with the regulars. Mrs Basil is toying with the idea of a PS5.

Rough day with the dog. Pining for attention all morning, obsessed with attacking her scab all afternoon and evening. I’m tired and fed up.
