First of a few days off. Took the dog to the park then walked all the way to the my old local and stayed there for a couple of hours. Had fish and chips from the sea food van. Got the bus home, the dog is tired but so am I. Mrs Basil went to the beach today and saw lots of flamingos.

More normal day. Dog cuddles with a coffee. Dog walk. Lunch. Read my book. Another dog walk. Dinner. Read my book. Mrs Basil had a day out shopping, I think she’s starting to get tired, she’s not very good at resting on holiday.

I let the dog sleep upstairs last night. It was a mistake, she didn’t settle and we were both knackered this morning. Ended up sleeping for 2 more hours on the sofa. Almost 2 hours in the field at lunch time was enough. I finished my book. Mrs Basil didn’t have much fun today, went to a BBQ where she felt a bit out of place.
