It snowed overnight but not too much. Walked the dog while Mrs Basil was at church. She once again decided not to take her keys and then was annoyed that she was locked out. I don’t understand but I’ve learnt not to challenge it. The walk was cold, wet, and precious. Other than an afternoon trip to the tip it was a fairly normal afternoon. Grumpy about it being Monday tomorrow.

Urgh. First full day at work in a while. It wasn’t too painful. I’m easing in. Took down the Christmas decorations after work while Mrs Basil walked the dog. Am about 80% through reading Leviathan Wakes… Can’t tell if I’m reading it or just playing The Expanse back in my head.

Slow day and I skived off quite a lot. Finished reading Leviathan Wakes. Not sure what to move on to next. Have the dog tomorrow… Soon Mrs Basil goes to Mexico for 10 days. Will I cope with the dog? It remains to be seen.
