Mrs Basil took Scout to the office but ended up coming home at lunchtime. Mainly because she forgot Scouts lunch but also because of a sore paw. Scout has been limping for at least a day so we are keeping an eye on it

More overtime today for a deadline nobody agreed to that our users don’t want. Finished at 20:30 and went to the pub to meet Mrs Basil and her friend from the office (and Scout). Didn’t get home until 22:30. Mrs Basil and Scout wil be like the walking dead tomorrow.

Dog still has very sore paw and is limping quite badly. Only walked her for 20 minutes today. Completely ignored valentine’s day, thankfully. Bad headache tonight, not sure I’m gonna get much sleep.

Mrs Basil woke up this morning with a stomach bug. Had to cancel her day filming. I had to do more overtime so Mrs Basil and Scout were both neglected. A daft purchase arrived today, some wooden musical spoons. Who knows when I’ll get chance to play around with them.

Mrs Basil had galentine’s lunch while I stayed home with the dog who is still limping with a sore paw. Tonight we went to the pub to send off a friend who is moving away. Tomorrow morning Mrs Basil is off to London for a week to produce her low budget feature.

Mrs Basil still unwell; more overtime for me. I’m feeling very tired. Scout has been pretty good considering her curtailed walks. Tomorrow was supposed to be a day off, spent alone, relaxing in the pub. This is looking unlikely given current domestic and professional situations.
