Had to sit through the IT department “all hands” meeting at work which was a cringe ridden snooze-fest. I managed to get the coffee stains out of the shawl Mrs Basil is crocheting which made her very happy. I finally fixed the dripping kitchen tap and the rest of my new pans arrived.

An old friend got married today, it was a good day. It’s always nicer when you’re fond of both people. Staying the night at the hotel so was able to stay for the whole evening. Some folk got incredibly drunk.

Breakfast at the hotel. Slightly tired and hungover. Croaky voice. Stopped in my hometown on the way home to see my mother and grandmother. Didn’t have to collect the dog until 4, but even then, she was knackered from staying with friends so we had a wonderfully lazy and restorative day.
