Frustratingly got into my project at work just in time for the end of the day. Was so hot today couldn’t walk the dog at lunchtime. A walk and pub visit after work while we waited for Mrs Basil to finish work.

Second day at head office. More of a normal work day. The Adidas/Newcastle United kit launch video that Mrs Basil produced was finally released today and it’s gone down a storm. Went out after work with work bestie and the new hire (who’s a bit of a wet wipe) … It was a good night until on the walk back to the hotel the new guy started asking us if we agreed that the moon landings were faked.

Another annoying day at work of constant ad-hoc shite. Plus an audit call that lasted 90 minutes and I was involved in for about 4 minutes. Very warm day again.

Uneventful journey home from down South but I am absolutely knackered. Felt a bit ill at a few points during the day… Hoping that it’s nothing. Might have to have a lie in tomorrow.

Mistakenly thought I was dog free today, which was annoying. Then there was some nonsense I had to deal with at work in the early evening. At least the PL season started tonight. Although I’ve been roped into fantasy football.

Thankfully no more funny turns today. Still shattered though. Started work a little late and finished a little early. Documentation work at the moment. What fun. My ereader has been on charge all day and hasn’t come back to life.
