Travelled down south for a few days for work. Had to change trains in London so spent the evening kicking my heels in Waterloo. Went to a few very different pubs and had some food before my last leg of the journey. Various things and people starting to annoy me by the time I got to the Holiday Inn that time forgot. There was a pair of shoes left in my room, which was pretty funny.

First day in the head office. Met some colleges for the first time. Spent most of the day going over the recent procedure changes. Was draining but went ok. Mrs Basil had an emotional and stressful day because the dog chased some cyclists and scratched one of them…. So it looks like she may have to be confined to lead walking from now on.

Second day at head office. More of a normal work day. The Adidas/Newcastle United kit launch video that Mrs Basil produced was finally released today and it’s gone down a storm. Went out after work with work bestie and the new hire (who’s a bit of a wet wipe) … It was a good night until on the walk back to the hotel the new guy started asking us if we agreed that the moon landings were faked.
