Another decent, mostly I bothered workday. A couple of reminders that the department moron is still a complete moron. Went for, the now usual, Wednesday drinks after work.

Finished our first sprint at work… Didn’t quite get through it all, but it wasn’t too bad. Spent so much focus on the dev that took much other stuff fell by the wayside. Dogs scab c off again today but it’s healed to the point where it’s not as catastrophic. Still worried about her paw though.

Got a bit stuck on my big process update project. Ended up chasing my tail a bit. Mrs Basil was up all night ill. Suspect it was a reaction to taking a new magnesium supplement.

Ok day at work. Mostly documentation and risk assessments but it was all simple and made progress. Nice sunny day, walked the dog, watched some Olympics. No dog drama for a change. My night dog sitting downstairs tonight.

So the week ended and I haven’t made enough progress with my project so it’s not gonna be fun next week. The useless tester has been working on a different app that his line manager is managing the project for. Finally someone else is getting first hand experience of how much of a plank he is.

Not too much of a restless night with the dog but I’m still knackered. Hopefully that’s the last night she needs babysitting. Work was fine. More documentation work. The planned EDL riots in Newcastle seems to have been warded off by couter protesters but I think more planned for Saturday.
