The last week before 2 weeks off. Can’t remember the last time I had 2 solid weeks off. Mrs Basil got a fright doing her company accounts and had a pretty major panic attack while I was out walking the dog. Will likely be something that sticks around for a few days at least… I hope she’s feeling better come our holiday.

A normal Sunday. Walked Scout and collected Mrs Basil from church before heading home for lunch. Unfortunately it was pouring with rain. Mrs Basil then took Scout to the office for a few hours. After coming home Mrs Basil watched the film Anatomy of a Fall, it didn’t really hold my interest.

Got a lot ticked off the to-do list at work but still very much ran out of time. Mrs Basil only feeling marginally better, still ill and still in the grip of anxiety. I booked some excursions for the holiday, I hope they are worth the money.

Lots of hurry up and wait going on at work at the moment. Mrs Basil is busy prepping a big commercial shoot she has next week that she is coordinating. Fingers crossed all goes to plan. Scout eye is mostly better, we think. Although the last few days she’s been excessively licking her paws, so there’s something new to worry about.

Glorious weather today. The dog went on a walk this morning with her buddy. I had another busy day trying to get a bunch of stuff done before my time off. Quick pint after work.

Delays and delays at work. Followed by nobody just listening to me. Mrs Basil was out on a recce today so I had the dog which was a bit awkward. Hopefully I will have enough time to complete the testing needed at work by Thursday, because I’m really looking forward to a long weekend.
