Quite a frustrating day at work lots of emails and difficult questions or problems flying around at the same time. Hard to know what to try and deal with in what order. A stressful evening because the dog was being extra anxious (due to Mrs Basil watched the football) whilst I was trying to cook.

Another mentally draining day. Ending with someone getting increasingly pissy. Had to take myself to the pub to chill out. Mrs Basil had another tough one and was feeling quite emotional.

Friday off since it’s Easter weekend. A lazy morning then walked the dog. Then got pulled into a work emergency all afternoon that turned out to be a Microsoft GraphAPI fault. It got a bit tense with colleagues at one point. Not a good day.

Less aggy work day (for both of us) thank god. And Scout was less annoying tonight so I’m in a much better mood. Watched episode 1 of Fallout. Was reasonably entertaining, but definitely nothing Mrs Basil will have any interest in seeing.

Spent the day drinking with old mates in Ouseburn. Was the usual 12-8 affair which is a long time to be drinking. Thankfully nowhere was too busy and was a fairly relaxed time.

Average day at work followed by a nice sunny evening. The main news is that a our dog club arranged a puppy adoption yesterday and I met Arlo the 6 month old Labrador today. He’s a little skittish but a very sweet boy and very playful once he’s comfortable.
