Had my appraisal today. Full marks and a promotion for a poultry 3.3% because “things are tight right now”. Classic. The small job the tester has been doing for the last 2 weeks he said he had to delete and start over. Real dog ate my homework stuff. Went to the pub after work and got takeaway chicken burgers.

Not much going on today. Slow and sluggish day at work today. Had to explain the same concept to the same person for the 5th time. Which is always fun. It was also pouring with rain for a change, so yet more muddy dog walks. Mrs Basil got a.very nice bit of work through the doors so is very pleased.

Busy day but ok until the very end when I got an alarming meeting invite with the CTO and a bunch of VPs about user complaints and software problems. Now I to be anxious about it over the weekend. Cool.

Just another frustrating day at work, going over the same things again and again and again. Mrs Basil has a work trip to France this weekend so is waking up at 3am tonight for an early flight.

Mrs Basil took the dog on a hike so I had a few hours window to do some gardening. Dug out all the nettles and brambles I could find. Mrs Basil had an evening out so I had the night in with the dog who was slightly annoying.

Mrs Basil was up at 3am for her flight to France. I Almost, nearly, very nearly finished everything I needed to do at work today. Dog Club Season 4 started tonight, met a few mainstays in the pub, Scout wasn’t playing nice so took her home and went back for a few pints.
